Savage model 10 top bolt release to bottom?

I have a model 10 action that I'm planning on using for a build, it is top bolt release. My question is I found a chassis for a bottom release. Any chance it could work?

You have a couple of options. You can change the sear to a bottom release. cheap and easy. The other is try it first and if it is a no go you can refer to to last sentence or grind clearance on the inner side.
