Need some advice, I have a Savage 10 FP .308 Cal and have had it for a long time great accuracy for hunting. Recently got in to shooting suppressed and wanting to use a suppressor on my Savage. To my luck the barrel I have is not threaded....:mad: should I have barrel threaded or purchase a new barrel???? Thanks for the advice.

If your barrel is still shooting good, get it threaded for the suppressor and your good to go.....

Seriously, what is confusing here?
If you get a flat tire, the discussion shouldn't be whether or not to get a new car....

Agree with GACOP. Shooting good, have it threaded. Good luck.

The only question I can think of is the barrel large enough for the suppressor to be able to have a shoulder . If I remember correctly, you factory FP barrel has the diameter to get the job done.
