New purchase...Savage 10PC

I am excited to have a Savage 10PC....any pc owners with experience who can offer suggestions on rings and glass? I plan on becoming proficient at shooting in the 300-500 range.

I like Seekins rings, what is your scoped budget? A SWFA 10x will work fine at those distances for a budget scope.

I would like to keep the budget in the $600-$800 range for rings and glass.

NightForce BR Model for me. Vortex has great scopes for your price range. I put one on my 338 Edge and it's been on it ever since, and has held up just fine.

Vortex, Weaver EMDR is a nice scope if you can find a used one. SWFA 3-15 are in that price range as well. Athlon has some scopes in that range too but they're pretty new on the market but seem to be getting good reviews.

TPS rings and base are great. +1 on SWFA 10x42. Great scope...I have no idea why its so inexpensive. Its built like a tank and tracks very reliably.

I have Seekins rings and a SWFA 3-9x42 scope on my 10PC. That might not be enough scope for you but I don't shoot beyond about 300 yards and I'm very happy with that set up.
