you need to sit down with several lots of that eley black box and tennex. you'll find a lot that your rifle likes. when you do buy all you can. the wolf has way to many droppers. trust me i started out doing what you are years ago. the eley is your best choice if your shooting benchrest. you just have to find the right lot number and buy all you can.

i have two cases right now. a case of black box lot number 3310 1046fps and a case of tennex lot number 2039 1068fps. i shoot in unlimited ir50/50 and a.r.a. matches. lapua is starting to make good ammo, but no place near eley yet. the others is just for people who think they want good ammo, but won't pay the price for it.

you may not be shooting in matches that reqiure you to shoot the very best to win so the cheap stuff will get you by. it all depends on what your wanting to do i guess. we ring every thing we can out of our rifles. we use barrel tuners and jewel triggers. we use the very best rests. i have a night force 12x42 power scope on my hall actioned rifle and a weaver t36 with a 7x booster on it on my suhl. they all are in benchrest stocks. the triggers are set at 2 ozs. we shoot free recoil as well. that is where you'll find out just how accurate your rifle is and how your stock tracks. the way the stock tracks mean more than anything. everything has to be perfect or you not ganna do the best you can.

Nice work and thanks for sharing!

I shot my first Wolf Match ammo this weekend in my Mark II FV and was really impressed with the results.
