need help with 223ai rebarrel
Im re-barreling my axis 223 to 223 ai
I need one or two pieces of 223ai brass to measure
my last 223 a1 barrel I just used a 223 brass to head space the barrel and it seemed to work fine
but I've been reading about the ai and
my understanding is the 223ai needs to be head spaced .004 shorter than the 223
please pm if you can help or have any suggestion's -tips

You could buy or rent the gauges...wouldn't really be any question that way. You'd be welcome to mine if I had them.

Or if you have some 223 gauges, the go 223 becomes the no go in a 223AI application.

BTW those two cases I sent you, they are fully fireformed in fact they are so fireformed, you can see the micro ridges from the reamer.:wacko:
