Well as luck would have it, I found "The Load" for my 6BR. I guess I bought the last 2 boxes of these on the face of the earth? Do any of you happen to have or know where to find them. These are the newer 105`s with the lower BC (.493). They were put out around the first of the year. The lot numbers are 2421 & above.

Also has anyone had any luck shooting the 105 Hunting VLD`s? These are supposed to be very similar to the older 105 Target VLD`s

Difference between them is jacket thickness, and now, meplat diameter. A lot of 6mm shooters I have heard from just switched from the target to the hunting VLD with no problems, other than finding them that is.

Well guys, the Hunting VLD`s work!!! Im haven`t been able to get the 100yd groups that I had with the Targets (high .2`s/low .3`s vs low to mid .3`s) ... but I have been able to put together consistant groups at 300 - 500yds with them. My first day out past 300 with them I shot 1.440"/.275moa & 1.638"/.312moa groups at 500. At 440yds I shot a .562"/.121moa group. Like I said earlier ... the Hunting VLD`s look like there going to get the job done!

I bought the 243 95gr hunting vld and the tips are not uniform at all. They are deformed and not concentric from one bullet to the next. Most all of them measure different lengths. Not worth loading. I also ordered some 7mm 168gr hunting vld and they are better but not much. Do any of you have the same problem. I am going to call them to see if I can't get another box.
