The action is stock on the MPA
The only mod is a Rifle Basix Trigger

At least the barrel is a Bergara, but like I've said you'll still have the standard known and clarified limitation of the Savage design regardless of what ou do to the action. Lowest cost I would go is a barreled action from stiller which I think runs for $1500 and they use a Factory Remington that they true and upgrade and I would drop that into a chassis or Stock of choice.

I read it on their site a few weeks ago as I was looking for inexpensive routes to build a 223 trainer rifle.
