Hello,

I can't help you with your question about the trigger; but, that is one fine looking 99!

I think I like your configuration (Pistol grip along with slim Schnabel forearm) the best of straight grip/pistol grip, and schnabel forearm/plain forearm.

I just joined the forum, and recently got my first 99. it's a straight grip, with slim Schnabel forearm. Mine is no where near as good shape as yours; but I plan on restoring Her to near factory glory.

It's first model 250-3000, they all had a criss crossed checkering pattern on the trigger. The second variation changed and the trigger became a vertical lined trigger.

It's an easy way of telling how old or which version a model 250-3000 is at a quick glance, although don't get it confused with a 99G which had the same trigger in the early versions.
