10T 10 round mag

Well I bought a 10T from cabellas and wanted to get a higher capacity. 308 magazine. I found one from cheap as dirt for 53.00 so I got it....... I found out it's not really a 10 rnd mag. Maybe 9 1/2 round. Very disappointing. So I was looking at it and trying to see if there was a fix for it, when I noticed the plastic piece in the magazine that pushes the cartridges out was quite a bit taller then the one in the 4 rounder that came with the rifle. So to make a long story short I disassembled the 2 mags and swapped them. It didn't seem to make a difference in the 4 rnd mag and i now have a true 10 rnd magazine. I didnt read every post so I don't know if someone else has tried this,but I thought I'd let you all know anyway

Can you post pictures? I got the same rifle(and maybe even the same mag, but mine was 80 at Cabela's) would love to have a true 10 round mag

Nice job. Your right about 9 1/2 which sucks. Glad I bought only 1 ten round mag. Will try your fix. Thanks.

Forgot to ask. Did you load up 10 rounds and cycle through all 10 to insure the last round will load?
