After hunting around trying to find spots with distance it became too much of a pain so I finally just joined the Colorado Rifle Club. Cannot say enough things about it. 1000 yard high power range, 500m metallic silhouette range, 200y shutzen range, 100 and 200y ranges, cowboy action range, pistol range, and super sweet trap walk through type range. I took my MKII and 93R17 TR out there for my first trip, confirmed zero on the shutzen range then moved to the metallic silhouette range. With Eley club, Edge and CCI mini mags I was surprised that hits out to 400m were doable even with some wind. Just barely heard the steel. I also tagged the 18" gong at 500m with the .17 hmr shooting gamepoints and 20 gr FMJs. Wasn't super repeatable but I was hitting it. My scopes being the limiting factor have old army mil dot reticles and Moa turrets that don't really track. I used mostly holds and kentucky windage. Ordering a Primary Arms rgrid and a Athlon Argos BTR mil for these guns soon for this very reason. when I need 12 mils of hold over and 2-3 mils of wind, a second focal plane army mil dot can do it but its not as easy. here is the Shutezen range with 100 and 200 yard burmshttp://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/jlorenzo2/IMG_20160424_145722_347_zpsdnbbe3uo.jpg (http://s292.photobucket.com/user/jlorenzo2/media/IMG_20160424_145722_347_zpsdnbbe3uo.jpg.html) And the Metallic silloutte range with burns from 50m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 300m, 400m 450m and 500m with ar500 gongs from 6"-18" all over the place. Super cool stuff.http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/jlorenzo2/IMG_20160424_170633_357_zpszjfhhb9e.jpg (http://s292.photobucket.com/user/jlorenzo2/media/IMG_20160424_170633_357_zpszjfhhb9e.jpg.html) my hold for the 8" circle at 300m with my 22 lr. lol with eley club I was connecting consistently. I zeroed the scope poor mans horus style with 100y zero being at the top stadia line giving me 10 mils of hold over instead of just 5, still need more for the .22 though haha.http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/jlorenzo2/IMG_20160424_170655_020_zpsujyhkk16.jpg (http://s292.photobucket.com/user/jlorenzo2/media/IMG_20160424_170655_020_zpsujyhkk16.jpg.html) what it looks like for the last 20 minutes of the drive to the range. http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm17/jlorenzo2/IMG_20160424_175752_634_zpsa8foe4gh.jpg (http://s292.photobucket.com/user/jlorenzo2/media/IMG_20160424_175752_634_zpsa8foe4gh.jpg.html) much more pics and videos to come next trip out. Took a few short vids by myself but there was a 3 hour orientation for the first time out and I just wanted to shoot after that. Ill but the links of theyoutube stuff up shortly.

gonna have to upgrade my spotting scope and run my phone camera through that for a target cam to get some better footage.

More north east. Straight out east on HW 52 then a few turns on some county line roads.

Burns, I like burns.

Yes they have signs all around that say "your rounds must immediately impact the burns behind the target"
Yes I type things out fast and dont read back over it usually.
