My first Savage finally arrived!

Scope is a Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 SFP, on a Spuhr ISMS mount
Bipod is a Harris
Can't wait to take it out for a test drive!

Thanks, here's hoping. I mean, rifles are like anything else; you can get a good one or a not so good one. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but theoretically speaking, it has a lot going for it.

So the Savage shoots well! It grouped about 1" at 100 yards. I'm sure that once I come to grips with the rifle, (and once we've got some fire-formed handloads worked up,) those groups will shrink.

Additionally, the pelican 1750 I ordered finally showed up, so I spent the evening carving up foam.
