Hello everyone. I've used your resources many times and decided to sign up. I went to the Shilen open house earlier today and almost bought a new 17 caliber barrel for my Model 112FVS single shot long action. It came with the 26" .220 Swift when I bought it new back in the late 80's or early 90's. I'm just not sure if I'm ready to rebarrel it yet since it still shoots into a ragged hole. Maybe I'll remage out one of the Rem700's that doesn't have sentimental value to me. I need some learnin'.
Anyway, I was once again finding myself in your forum and finally decided to take the time to sign up and hopefully learn more Savage knowledge from like minded enthusiasts.
