.223 bolt swap

I have a dual port 6 BR savage. Thinking of replacing barrel with one chambered for .223. Can I use a .223 savage bolt in the 6br action? I have all the pieces.

yep. Just be sure to headspace it properly. All else is the same.

Have that Brux rechambered to .223AI while you're at it. Are you shooting short range or longer.

There is a range that goes out to 600 yds close by so maybe try some 90 vlds and stretch it out.
