My first Savage 12VLP, 22-250 and my first varmint rifle. I'm eager to learn about the realm of the barrel nut. I bought my 22-250 with the intent of converting it to a 6.5 Creedmoor. Any help and advise will be greatly appreciated.

Where do you shoot? I am from west bend but my in-laws are from Dale. I shoot out at Twin City Rod and Gun in Greenville, was just there today.
