Thank you, though it's not a McMillan. It's the factory 12fv stock that I painted. I sanded and degreased the stock. Put on several base coats of Krylon Khaki and Krylon black marbelizing spray, then four coats of Krylon matte clear.

I know this thread is old, but I have an update for anyone who might be interested. Finally got set up to do some handloading back in November, anniversary present from my wife [emoji106].
Anyhow, after trying a half a dozen different powders and bullets, I've come to the conclusion that this rifle will shoot anything you feed it well.

One particular load really stood out from the crowd at my last range session. Round after round it never made a seperate hole. 5 shots @100
Case: Winchester 1.906"
Primer: CCI 200LR
Bullet: 55gr Sierra Blitzking
Powder: Varget 34gr

I don't have a chronograph yet. Velocity was an average of my books.
