I leave out milk and cookies every night, hoping Santa Jim will visit my increasingly bare and lifeless tree.

I should stop eating said milk and cookies.

just about every place has stocks in stock right now...try stockys first then just look around for the best deal...if feeding from a DB mag you will have to buy bottom metal and have the stock inlet-ed...CDI is running a special...if you buy the bottom metal from them they will inlet the stock free.

i use a local guy for paint...id look around your area for cerakote applicators.

If i put that much in a stock would i be better of going to a mtd tac 21?

If going chassis you should take a close look at the XLR chassis...I like the adjustability of the XLRs.

Where are you located?

Coatings USA here in Front Royal VA is the ONLY Cerakote Certified applicator I know of locally. They will deal through the mail.

540-636-7911 ask for Kerri.

I would look at a Krg or an XLR for good chassis. Also MPA makes a great chassis and will inlet for about anything. They're real popular in PRS right now. The competition stock is very nice. Not sure on price point though.

Is your action cerakoted? Wondering why you just want to do the barrel.

An X-Caliber in .243 Winchester. I also have an X-Cal in .338 Edge I'm waiting for, but that one has only been two months.
