savage 340 side scope mount

My 340 22 hornet has the side scope mount with 4 screws.
I would like to replace the scope but the distance between rings is only 1 inch.
All of my scopes have a larger turret housing,ie 30mm.
Would anybody know of any current scopes with small housings??
Otherwise will have to find older secondhand.

Weaver #1 side mount. There is a medium length and long length scope rings by weaver for it. Either of them will fit any if your scopes. Tgere is plenty on EBay.com or gunbroker.
