I am planning on getting the new axis with the accutrigger in 6.5 creedmoor and throwing it in an MDT LSS.

What are the action screw spacing on the axis models in case I decide to go with a bell and carlson or other stock?

Are there any aftermarket bolt handles for the axis? I really like the Hog Hunter type bolt handle.

What is the cheapest decent aftermarket barrel for the axis incase I want to go with an aftermarket barrel?

MDT is one of only three companies I know of that make an aftermarket Axis stock, the others being Boyds and SSS. I didn't think B&C made an Axis stock. The receiver has a unique screw hole spacing that I have inconveniently forgotten, and the layout is also different from any variety of 10/110.

Glades Armory makes aftermarket bolt handles for the Axis. Normal 10/110 bolt handles will fit on an Axis bolt but will not be fully functional. I thread my own, typically. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fczCGdZG1iM&list=PL6mstF7_2-gm3WnoBZZ1QLpjIeoFWXqg9&index=2)

The cheapest barrels for an Axis would be a prefit from E.R. Shaw, which typically is in the $200 range. Apache would be a close second if you take account for time being money, but his are actual custom barrels so it may be a wash. Many more options start entering the playing field in the $350 range. In any case, the Axis takes a small shank barrel.

Ok thanks a lot fellas. Thinking I may just need to spring for a predator hunter or LRP. Then build up an axis in another caliber.

Cabelas is now offering a 10T "Tactical" in 6.5 Creedmore that is pretty nice. $600
