I just saw a DIY where a guy just went to the hardware store an got a threaded rod and thumb wheel , built himself an adjustable cheek piece.
Just looking around and found this, nice and clean.

Adjustable but.I don't care for his adjusting wheel, I'd find something better.

Curt thank you very good how to articles I think both could be simplified with the same or better results, using a thumb wheel on both.
