Looking for suggestion for a new stock, I have a Model 10 FCP-K IN .308 Win,
I like the look of the B&C A2, but the stock will not allow the use of the box
Magazine. Is there any decent stock that will allow the use of the magazine ?
Thanks for the info !!

Or if you can wait a long time, Sharpshooter Supply makes nice laminate stocks. I'm having an LVT made for mine. I also have a Choate custom tactical that's pretty nice. The ones for the short action and DBM all work on the FCP-k.

I too am in in the market for a new stock (Savage 10 FCP-K)

Is the Choate custom tactiacl alu. pillar better than our accu-stock ? Other than a ergonomics are we gaining a better alu. pillar design over our current stock? Are people still bedding their actions with this stock ?

IMO, the choate pillar is better than the accustock. It is a solid V-shaped pillar that is very rigid. The accustock pillar is a little flimsy - the sides of it actually spread out as you tighten the action screws. I still did a skim bedding on my choate just to be sure the action is secure and stress-free.
