I have a factory stock 11 in 300 WSM. With 190 VLD's, it is the second most accurate rifle in the safe. My last group with it was .3 moa at 400 yards, and it penetrated 3/8" stainless plate completely at that distance with every round (stainless is easier to do that with than mild steel). Brass isn't readily available right now, but what chambering is? Handloading is a breeze, for the most part. My RCBS funnel doesn't work with it, so I have to screw in a tube from my RCBS powder measure in order to charge cases. My old MTM loading blocks are a tight fit. The brass is strong, and sometimes hard to detect pressure signs until you're way up there, and you'll know you're too high when you go to seat new primers. Stay below book maximum and you shouldn't have a problem.
