Hey, I'm new here. Looking at doing my first build. I found a 30-06 donor but before I buy I want see what stock options I have. The rifle will be a long range hunter. I prefer a composite stock. This is a great site:)

Welcome,
Theirs not an easy answer to your question, being that their are so many different configurations of LA savages, and most stock companies only make stocks for 1 or 2 specific configurations. So give a little more info and I'm sure you'll a get some good answers.
Like:
Top or bottom bolt release?
Centerfeed or staggerfeed?
Blind mag? Hinged floor plate?
Detachable mag with plastic or steel bottom metal?

Thank you!! I'm realizing how many different variations there are. The one I was looking at was a top bolt release and internal mag. I'm not sure if it is centerfeed or staggerfeed.

I just found a deal deal on a Lady Hunter in 30-06. I think it had the bottom bolt release. I've looked at a lot of guns this week and I'm starting to struggle remembering what gun had what:). It did have the detachable mag box. I think plastic. The dmb is something I want.

Not a ton of options for the long action bottom bolt release with the plastic DBM.
But a few to look into are:
Boyd's- laminate
Choate- little heavy for hunting
Bell and Carlson- not sure if they make it for that exact configuration or not, but worth a look.
What I did was order a stockade and convert my LA DBM to a blind "internal" magazine
