Hello, I'm new to the forum and Savage rifles. What sold me on the brand was the Mark II FV, my first bolt action rifle. Since purchasing that gun and being so impressed with its accuracy, I decided I wanted a short action centerfire. That wound up being a Model 10 .308 FCP-HS. I could not be happier with both!! I'm in the process of load development for the 10 at the moment, using 168 and 175 SMK's and Varget, in case you have any suggestions. Most of the pistols I have are Glocks, and are used for IDPA or carry. I enjoy Tactical Rifle, Tactical shotgun, and Indoor Tactical carbine matches. I'm an IDPA SO and very active in that discipline. I'm also a member of Ashland Lake Gun Club, we have all these programs and more.
