I am selling a The Varminter Low Profile 308 Stainless, for $650.00 am I asking to much?

Too much??? :o Son, where were you when I was looking for mine? I paid more than that for just the rifle, new in the box! Although my stock is a little different, it's more of a "Monte Carlo' style... Whoever buys that is going to get a heck of a deal, IMO. Same 26" fluted barrel, 20 MOA EGW base, and accu-trigger.

only reason i was asking is I had it on gunbroker 5 lookers and no bids, it closed today not being sold?/
I have 3-308 bolt rifles 2 are savage just trying to free up some money
this one is a great shooter, but so is my 10fp had to let one go..

if you dont mind me asking what height rings is on the first gun ? is that high or super high rings?that is some good looking rigs thats for sure.

I am not sure about the pricing, but I bought a brand new in the box VLP .223 on Gunbroker.com for $575.00 to me with shipping (including giving my FFL $10.00 for the transfer fee). Maybe I got lucky :)

the scope is a Burris XTR but that is not for sale i was selling the rifle no scope
guns has about 100 rounds fired
its about a year old, center feed

Even without the scope, IMO, that's still a good deal, all things considered. You can get .22-250's and .223's where I live in NC, just about anywhere. But to find a 12BVSS in .308 is darn near impossible and took me a long time. From what I was told, Savage had a very limited production run of the .308's and focused mainly on the smaller bore for production.
