So I picked up a Venture because I just liked the camo. This gun is smooth and shoots way better than the one MOA claim. Problem is the 3 round magazine capacity. The main purpose of this rifle is another prairie dog gun and I like to shoot without constantly reloading. I attempted to attach a plastic mini 14 mag to the factory mag and it just didn't work. Ordered a MDT 223 mag from brownells and made it work. The rear tab was cut out of a stripper clip and screwed into the mag. The front I first tried to make a springy type release but it didn't work. Ended up just putting a screw in to rest on the shelf where the factory tab rests. I had to move the screw lower after the initial position didn't work. I filed the screw down to fit in the shelf. I also had to sand some material off the lips to allow for smooth bolt operation. Just throwing this out there to all the tinkerers.
