Removal of camo on savage predator

Anyone ever done it? was thinking of stripping it and a having cerakote applied. The original dipped finish is flaking off

Always wondered about the durability of that camo style finish. You've partially answered that question in that its flaking off therefore its not very durable compared to bluing.
