Need help ordering a new stock.

I called McMillan stocks today to order one of their new stocks and I was asked a couple questions I didn't have an answer for.....I have never ordered an aftermarket stock so be kind..

1) they need to know the contour # of the barrel. Well only info I got from Jim at Bison barrels that I can remember was "heavy magnum contour". I am thinking that equates to a 3 1/2 or so contour. Am I right?

2) shank size and I think he said length installed in the action. I have a smalle shank action so that would be 1.055 in diameter right? But what about length?

Any help is appreciated. I emailed bison barrels but don't know if he will email me back.

However, i'm pretty sure you could tell McMillan that it is a "Heavy Magnum Contour" and they'll know what that is.

Shank Size will be small, yes.

Length installed in the action - I have no idea what he means. Maybe he means Length of Pull?
