Has anyone built a 300WSM on a Long Action? Or, any of the other WSMs' on a long action?

I have a 116FHSS on order and, before I buy another short action, I wondered if you could get a .300WSM to feed from the magazine in a long action.
I know you can do a small shank barrel in WSM, but I don't know if there are any savage magazines that would allow the WSM to feed in a long action.
I don't want to stuff the magazine, just want a backup round or two in the magazine that would feed reliably.

Also, I just found out from a previous post, that my 16FSS 300WSM, has a mechanical ejector that operates through a slit in the bolt face. (Don't know how I didn't notice that before?) So I'd rather have a magnum bolt face with an ejector pin and spring.

Any suggestions are appreciated... may save me from buying another short action. :-\

I have two WSM's on long actions. One is stagger feed the other centerfeed. Both of them feed well. No bending, tweaking, or anything to get them to feed perfectly.

I put a 270 wsm barrel on a 7 mag savage action it worked great no problems.
