New to this site, with 99 RS question

Hi everyone
I'm new to this site. I have a question about my newly aquired 99 RS.
By using the LBC I believe mine was made in either 1953 or 1954, hard to tell if is an E or an F. My 99RS has serial number 835XXX. I haven't seen anyone mention RS made with this serial number range. I would like to hear any comments.
