I am working on a 250 savage build and was wandering if a 250 savage round will feed out of a 243-308 clip.

It should feed fine. I assume you mean a centerfeed magazine?

yes looks like every diameter is the same just was wondering because the oal is different

Yep works fine in staggered magazines as well. I have a .250 built on just about every savage configuration possible.

Mine does not feed well. I have to load the rounds at the front of the magazine or the rounds will nosedive into the bottom face of the barrel when cycling the bolt. I am wondering if opening the feed lips would help or if I need a new mag box. It is a model 11 centerfeed that went from 7-08 to .250 Savage. I have noticed that the detachable mag for an Axis .22-250 do not have the front lips and it feeds correctly from the back of the mag.
