Aloha kakou,
You guys have helped me choose my first rifle and it is an excellent rifle but now I'm wondering if I should change my barrel. The lwh barrel is very light and it's super good for all the bush wacking I do in the islands but I'm planning on going to outer islands for deer hunts and I want to know if I should get a heavier barrel to improve accuracy.

And is it possible to buy actions cause I can just build another rifle around my left over parts.

Aloha Mai e

See what you got first, shoot out to 150yds

^^^^that, and a heavier barrel isn't necessarily more accurate.

It's more about your expected hunting situation and matching gun to that.

What do you think your farthest shoot will be? Average?

Will you be shooting from a stand, a blind, prone, offhand. Etc.?

probably 150-200 MAX. at that range ill probably be sitting with a tripod or prone

What you have will probably be just fine for that.

Like Wolf said, see if you can replicate the range and pistons and see how it feels.

That said, I wouldn't think that a heavy barrel wound be a disadvantage, but probably not a necessity.
