Good morning. I picked up my first Savage (10FP 308) a year or two ago and just purchased a 110 243 the other day. I'm going to try some shooting out to 1000yds with the 10FP while the 110 will be a good woods gun.
Question, is there a good source for 1st gen short action (17xxx serial) parts or are the classifieds here the best place to just keep an eye out? I'm thinking about swapping a 308 barrel on to the 110 to keep consistent calibers between rifles.
