93R17GV Sling

Bought new 17HMR Ten days ago. Tried two different name brand slings and the holes in the swivel studs that came on the gun are too small to insert sling.
Bass Pro said they were universal and the second one I purchased fit a savage they had on the shelf still wont fit in mine. contacted savage ten days ago, no response yet. Like to get this gun up and running.

No luck, nothing from savage yet after two inquiries. I have numerous slings that wont fit through these mounts that came on my gun including trying the one currently on my savage 220f

What model did you procured? Just got mine used, never fired at my LGS. Love it, 93R17BV..Laminated, heavy barrel. Accutrigger is awesome. Posting pixs soon after my new scope gets mounted
