Anyone out there a fan of these? Give me the good, bad, and the ugly. I recently came into four sets of these rings, free, due to a mixup at Leupold. They sent them to me accidentally, and after I contacted them about this mystery package that showed up at my door, they graciously told me to keep them. So kudos to them!
The bases for these for a Savage 10/110, however, run $50-60 depending on the source and availability. I have one set on order. Anxious to try them out, as they seem to be a good choice for hunting guns. I normally use Picatinny style mounts and rings, but they are heavy and bulky. These would be lighter and trimmer, but still easily removable. Are they as good as they claim?
