Figured I'd register finally. I'm from Upper Michigan, but am now in Northeast Wisconsin.

Iv'e been reading these forums for quite some time now, and I am going to start to do a couple Savage projects, so I thought I should get the registration and intro out of the way.

My first hunting rifle was a 110 in .308 when I was 10. A gift from my now deceased father. I've since had about a dozen different models come and some go through my house.

Currently my stock is down to my beloved 110, and three 12BV's (.308, .22-250 and a .223 for the wife).

Iv'e never really got into long range shooting too much. A few times out to 400 yards, but nothing farther than that. My wife's 12BV in .223 and mine in .308 were recently purchased from Cabela's since they have a sale for $419 and Savage has the rebate of $100! I am going to add little bits to them here and there. So far my plan is to get new stocks, maybe cut and thread the barrels. Maybe put the action on the lathe to true it. Who knows. That's why I registered. To ask you knowledgeable fellas advice!

Thanks, Nick!

I don't think they qualify, but would be great if they do.
