I finally recieved my shilen 260 barrel from midway that was back ordered, It will be going on a stevens that is currently a 243, for the stock I will probally end up going with a bc medalist varminter, What about the trigger quard from the stevens stock? are you guys using it for your builds or getting a better one? Also I need help deciding what trigger to get? looking at the rifle basics vs the sss trigger? give me some suggestions, thanks

I have the same question on the trigger gaurd. I have what i belive is a B and C metalist stock and my trigger gaurd wont fit. Who makes a good replacement? Preferably out of metal.

SSS has metal trigger guards. i bought one for my stevens that i put in a stocky's thumbhole stock. the plastic one would not fit but the metal one fit perfect! i think it was only about 20 bucks or so. stainless or "blued"

Thanks for the tip. I will be putting an order in for one. Now i only have to decied between stainless or blued? lol
