The rifle is an older G model with a blind magazine, mid-late 90s probably. It's chambered in 270 and looks to be all factory. If I buy it my plan is to convert it to 6.5 Creedmor or 308, so I'm wondering other than a barrel what other parts might need to be replaced? Found it at LGS for $299.99 (fair price?). Thanks for any info you can provide.

Excellent price.
No other parts needed to swap to either caliber.

That's what I hoped.

I had a Savage Model 110, not sure when it was made. It was a left hand model with the long action and chambered for the .308. My niece's husband now has this rifle. My point is that the magazine might be too long for the shorter cartridge, but your conversion might work just fine.

That doesn't exist.
