Hey everyone, new to the forums here. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything in the search.

Finding custom or aftermarket parts for the 200 are pretty rare, but I've heard that parts for the savage 10 or 110 are interchangeable with the Model 200. Is this true?

Thanks for your time.

Yes. A $300 Savage is a $300 savage. Even if it has Stevens stamped on it, or they charge $700 for it.

Im pretty sure this doesn't answer the OPs question... Darker, have you worked on a 200? Do you know wether he can get the parts off 10/110 rifles?

Yes, it does. I have worked on many 200's, including on on the bench currently. They are the same, or see below.

Thanks guys. Just to make sure, say I bought a stock for a 110, would it fit my 200?

I'm pretty sure you are mistaken. Darker accurately and concisely answered the question.

OP, 10 is a short action and 110 is a long action. Action screw spacing will determine the action length you are dealing with.

As long as you match short/ long action, ( I would just measure screw spacing to be sure) and stagger feed/center feed. And small/large shank.

Got it. Question though: what shank are you referring to, sir?

....Alright, again with this. There is an expression, RTFM; we need one for the FAQ, RTFF.

Top left of this page, under the pretty picture, click on the "Home" button.
Once that page loads, scroll down slightly, and against the left edge of the page; click on the "Savage FAQ's".
Then you get a sub directory choice. Choose "Centerfire FAQ's".
There are three pages of FAQ's. You would do well to read them all..... Hint-hint. But the specifics needed to answer every question on this thread, are on page 3.
