Difference in Mag followers

I have a .223 blind mag and follower that I am putting into my 22-250. I took the spacer out of the .223 mag so it will fit the 22-250 (.308). Is there a difference between the .223 and .308 followers? If so anyone got a line on one? Everywhere I look they are back ordered.

.223 and 22-250 magazines are completely different, and so are the followers. Nothing will interchange between the 2.

I thought the mag was the same, just an added spacer for the .223? This is for a internal stagger feed rifle. The older flat back style.

.223 and .204 magazines are narrower than the standard mags.

I have an older savage 110 and have been looking everywhere for a replacement .223 magazine spring or follower assembly and like you say, everyone is out.

Oops, sorry about double post. Midway has your 308 follower assembly on backorder and says will be available Feb 24. Said my .223 was also on backorder but change date.

Ended up biting the bullet and ordering a cdi bottom metal with DBM.
