Will a 416 Remington function in a 300 win mag donor 110 simple by swapping barrels and using the same magazine? If not what are some other big bore cartridges that work and function with minimal to no work need other than a new barrel?

Might consider 416 ruger unlike the Remington or Rigby .416s, the Ruger .416 can be chambered in a standard length action

My only hesitation with the .416 Ruger is its a new cartridge and who knows if it will stand the test of time. It's a great concept but if Hornady drops it brass would be an issue. I do believe the 375 Ruger is here to stay so brass could be formed from it. I wonder if the Ruger requires a specific magazine or does it uses the same one that the 300 win mag uses?

Wouldn't the shank diameter be the governing factor . If the action lentgh is same as my 223 on a 110 , can put a 30-06, or 300 weatherby with a modification on magazine box change and a bolt head change . "lease correct me if I am wrong on this
