Hello everyone
just returned home from picking up a 12 FV in 22-250 anyone have experience with this model? I do not mind the blind magazine and I like the fact that the barrel is 26 inches. I will be reloading for this more concerned with accuracy rather than velocity. This season will be honing my skills with my 223 on coyotes - think maybe next season use the 22-250. My objective is to have the barrel last a long time and document the number of rounds down the barrel.

Any input good/bad or ugly is welcomed and if you reload what worked for you.

cheers from Canada
ivo

ps - sprung on this one before all prices skyrocket due to our loonie flying low and slow :-)

I have a 12 FVSS in 22-250 and it's a shooter. It's in a Stockade Elk Stalker stock with a Leupold 6.5-20 with a Varmint Hunter reticle. Mine shoots Sierra 55gr Gamekings over 36.0grs of Varget very well. I killed eight grounds from 405-446 yards last summer with it. I don't own a chronograph so I have no idea on the speed.
