We got our first dusting last week with another dusting today. Still waiting on a good heavy snow, gotta get my money's worth out of the snowblower I bought a couple years ago.

You do know that now you have a snow blower you won't get any. :p

I haven't seen snow in so long I forgot what it looks & feels like.

Sometimes, just sometimes I miss it.

According to the local weather forecast we might get dumped on Friday into Saturday. They're calling for less than 1" on Friday then 8"-12" Saturday with 24mph winds.

Where I grew up and lived the first 23 yrs. of my life, a freezer would have been welcome. Winters on Long Island were "unique" to say the least. Sometimes you get a 60 degree January and sometimes you get -30 degree with 50 mph winds and 12ft of snow drift across the front of the house.

The latter is why I moved south.
About 1500 miles worth.

I had the same thing for 64 years Frank. But hey as you know it isnt always balmy down here either.
Yesterday there was enough cool wind to put a nasty chop on the river and i got a little wet and chilly running the boat.
I had to resort to pulling into one of those run down gated comunities along the river and pulling a few nice
sheepshead from under some poor guys motor yacht parked behind his shack. The guy was probably up north fighting
the snow and trying to earn enough to pay the landscapers.

It sounds like the snow blower chorus around here this morning.

I got a call yesterday "HELP". One of my friends called, his blower no starty! I asked him a few questions then told him what to try. 30 or so minutes later he called back "That fixed it, what do I owe you?"

Hummm...that Mod 70 in your safe would be a nice down payment to start !:p

It started slacking off about 5 or so up this way. According to WGAL it set a new record for the valley, 28.6", 3.6 more than 1983.

This was our front walk at 1:30.

The latest total at HBG airport was 30.2".

I just got done with the forth cleanup, three yesterday to beat it down and today to finish it. Last evening they opened our street with a front end loader building their version of the Great Wall of China on the end of my driveway.:p

Youve obviously made some great friends there Bill.
Have you been voicing your displeasures at any commissioners meetings lately?
Maybe it was all a miscomunication which was meant as, Dont forget to plow Bills driveway? lol
