Well I have a Model 11 Hog Hunter just laying around and i have decided to convert into a 6.5 CM since i have another sub MOA .308 rifle. Just put the call in today to Northland Shooters Supply for some of the goods. The build list will be as follows. Let me know what you guys think about this. This is my first re-barrel in a bolt action platform so if there is any advice and/or tips please let me know.

Model 11 SA
Criterion 28” Bull barrel in 6.5 CM
NSS Precision Ground Recoil Lug
NSS Savage Squared and Trued Barrel Nut
B&C Tactical Medalist Stock
EGW Rail
Vortex Viper PST 6-24 with Illuminated EBR-2C MRAD
Vortex Precision Match Rings
PTG Bolt Head
Also picked up a replacement spring from NSS for my factory accu-trigger that will bring the pull down to about 1.5lbs.

I have been doing some load research on what the CM generally likes and the one thing that I can’t seem to find anywhere is Federal 210M primers. Anyone know where I can get my hands on some of these? If I can’t get these then what would be the next best alternative?

CCI BR2 primers work great for me.

How do those compare to the Federal 210M's?

I put together my first 6.5 creedmoor loads Friday and used cci200's. Cause its what I had. But I read multiple places where they'll work just fine.

The CCI Br2's shot best for me out of CCI 200, CCI 250, FED 210, FED LR Magnum(can't remember the #) I don't know how any of these stack up against the Federal Match primers as I said they were not available.

I use the CCI BR2 primer on anything that requires a large rifle primer up to 44-45 grains over that I go to a magnum primer.

Doing a bunch of Pressure Testing on the Creed, among other rifles; longer isn't going to gain you nearly what many "hope".
Primer differences in the creed are also more about a specific loads SD/ES, the actual pressures really don't change much.

Thanks for the info Darkker. The only reason i went with that length is because they didn't offer a shorter version in the bull.

I've been avoiding this forum for awhile (saving money haha). Can you send me more info about the aftermarket trigger spring for the factory accutrigger?

Contact Jim at NSS and he can get you hooked up with the trigger spring. I paid $10 for it.
