oh la from So Cal what to buy

I'm new to the gun/ shooting world.. and i'm starting to learn a bunch..

I'm thinking of buying my first gun/ rifle. I was at the bass pro shop and came across the Savage 11 xp rifle.

Then I went to the savage arms website and notice the savage 16 version..


I'm considering getting either the 11 or 16 xp in .308 but is the the 130 price difference worth the price ?

The only difference between those rifles is one is stainless steel the 16 version and the 11 is not. Personally I like the stainless steel but neither one should shoot any better than the other one.

Guess you will have to decide if that is worth the extra money for you.

Welcome! If it were me personally I would recommend the model 10P ;) but either the 11 or 16 should be a good shooter. Your price difference probably won't make it more accurate but the SS will probably be better for wet conditions like hunting, etc...
