Hello,I new to this forum and new to Savage rifles. I own 3 Savages,a Model 111 Chieftain in 7x57,a Model 10 .223 and a model 11 .223 - I can't believe how accurate Savage's are. I was out the other day with my model 11 .223 and shot 1/2 inch group at a 100 yards with walmart winchester HP ammo. Normally I'm not that good of a shot but me and that rifle get along. I have a couple of questions I think there is something wrong with the firing pin on my .223 model 10. The firing pin is flat on the end and it causes the primers to crater. my model 11 don't with the same ammo.How do you change the firing pin? I bought one from midway.2nd question. What calipers could I have a .223 switched too with just changeing the barrel? What would I have to do to change it to .243 thank you very much
