Just picked up my new rifle tonight kinda disappointed model 11 th xp looks to have the axis bolt setup the rear of the stock near safety there is a 1/16" gap between the stock and the action near safety the stock has the axis style mag release also

What stock will be a good option looking at the boyds but not sure sounds like people had some fitting issues with them

Don't be too quick to discount that stock. I bought the same rifle not long ago, in .308. Plastic stock and all. I got sub-1" groups with it at 100 yards with factory ammo, and when I started handloading, I cut those groups nearly in half. No Accustock, no replacement stock. And, to top it off, that's one of the lightest stocks you can find anywhere.

I took mine off my 11 and put my 7.62x39 scout action in it. That gun now shoots stupid small groups (fired a .594" group at 100 yards just the other day) with no more than a fixed 4x scope on it, and the rifle weighs less than 7 lbs. scoped.
