I just purchased a Savage Alaskan Brush Hunter in .375 Ruger, and am considering a Hogue replacement stock. Does anyone happen to know, since it's a .375, if the barrel profile is a standard barrel profile or a heavy/varmint profile? Thanks!

Sorry, Admins, I just noticed there is a specific forum for stock discussions. Please move this post if needed. Thanks.

I purchased a take off barrel a few years back.
It's what I believe is commonly referred to heavy sporter.
.750 ish muzzle, medium contour.
It's definetly not a varmint or heavier contour.
Its more like a Hog Hunter profile. Actually I believe they are the same contour.
I do not have that barrel anymore or I could be of more help.
