Savage Edge Magazine

I just bought a new savage edge .270 rifle. The magazine does not seem to want to feed the cartridges. It appears that the cartridges are to far back and get hung up under the bolt face. Has anyone had this problem and if so how can I remedy the situation.

Because this rifle is so new not many on this forum have had any experience with it so you may not get an answer here. If none is forthcoming, give Savage a call, ask for Effie. They may have yous end it back, free of charge, for a fix.

Mine is a 223, no problems feeding...............

My new 7-08 feeds okay, the clip is difficult to load....center feed
