Are all new production Savage 10/11 Bolt Action rifles bottom bolt release?
I'm looking at their website and it appears that is the case for Models 10/11 and 16. Only exception appears to be the Model 12 actions based on the pictures I'm looking at. FAQs on the website also provide procedures for removing the bolt and mentions the new bolt design, which is a bottom bolt release.
I have a B&C Tactical Medalist set up for a top bolt release that I plan on using for a 260 Rem build and it appears I need to focus on the secondary market instead of just buying a new one.
