I really like the looks of this gun and I'm interested in trying to buy one. Does anybody have or know someone who has one of these? How is the stock? Also who knows who haas these guns, alot of places i've looked at doesn't have them in stock. Ozarkguns has an outadted price of $575 but everywhere else is $675 or higher. I'm wanting either a .25-06, .270, or a .308. It will be my main deer hunting gun here in GA. Just trying to find some reviews and i knew if anybody should have it, it would be you guys.

The BTH series is set in a Boyd's thumhole stock. They come in at least two different barrel lengths and shoot very well, typically. I think you should bed the action as, to me anyway, the wood used in the lamanite is a little soft.

The .308 will be a short action and the .25-06 and .270 will be long actions just in case you didnt know. The calibers you mentioned are OK in Ga. but if you arnt taking long shots I would go with the .308 especially if you dont handload as a lot of good accurate factory ammo is available.
